About Back Country 4 Wheelers Inc - BC4WI.
We are based out of the Southern Tier of New York (Elmira, Corning, Bath, Ithaca) and the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania (Athens, Sayre, Towanda, Troy).
We are a family oriented club whose members include both men and women, with ages ranging from teens to older senior citizens. Our members all have one
thing in common and that is the love of the outdoors and four wheel drive vehicles. Our members are great people, some of the friendliest people you could ever
possibly meet. They're the type of people you just want to hang out with because you know you'll have a great time together.
We've been incorporated since 1988, have our own property and facilities, regular monthly meetings and are current members of the (UFWD) United Four
Wheel Drive Association. Our membership is growing and we are always happy to get new members into our organization. Our meetings are usually held
the last Saturday of every month unless the members are otherwise notified by email, phone and /or scheduled in the "Scheduled Events Calendar".
Our property consists of 20 acres of land, it has a regulation side by side sand drag strip, with starting lights, mud pits, tire pit, rock pit, hill climbing,
trails, obstacle course, huge building and porch, is handicapped accessible, with lots of open space and green grass for picnics and family gatherings.
If you'd like to become a member, we'd love to have you. To become a member, you're required to attend at least one monthly club meeting and one club
sponsored event. The cost to join is 60.00 dollars (for current membership year) and must be paid in that year, current membership year. Yearly club dues
are 40.00 dollars a year, and are due in October of each year. For new members, once you pay your 60.00 dollars for BC4WI membership, you then have
full and unrestricted access and use of all BC4WI assets and facilities. On September 27th 2008, BC4WI eliminated their long standing $100.00 joining fee,
plus first year $40.00 membership fee, and implemented a flat first year membership fee of $60.00. An eighty dollar savings on BC4WI membership. Since
money is tight these days, we wanted to try and make it a little more affordable if you were interested in becoming a BC4WI Club Member.
Members are expected to either own or have regular access to a 4x4 type vehicle. Since club sponsored events and activities are organized and run by club
members, we expect club members to volunteer and help out when and where they're needed. All club members have full access to our club property and
facilities, are given the Back Country 4 Wheelers Inc decal, other club items as they become available and all members receive their own club email address.
We encourage you to become a member of Back Country 4 Wheelers Inc. You'll have a lot of fun, meet a lot of great people and build great memories you'll
